Use old version skype 4.0 or 3 new versions suck
I installed Skype on Droid Incredible2 (Verizon) about a year ago. While discussing an e-mail issue with Verizon they insisted I factory reset my phone. After the reset I could only get skype mobile which does not allow you to call telephones without using precious Verizon plan minutes, even on Wi-Fi. The Original Skype allowed this. Verizon stated that calling telephones was using their resources for free. I used original Skype in a Wi-Fi setting on this phone when Verizon was not initialized. Phone calls and internet worked fine. I fail to see how this used Verizon Resources. It seems Verizon wants Skype to go away because Skype is now useless on my Droid Incredible 2.
Please let me know if you know of anyone else with this problem and if possible a solution. Thanks, David Dunn
Dear David, I suggest you to post your question on xda developers forum. they are very good programmers and they will help you. i think they will suggest you to un-brand your mobile phone by flashing a no-brand firmware, so look for several guides before modding your mobile phone 🙂 (i’m not a developer, i’m just a Geek)

Yay now I don’t have to use that 4.0 Skype version because the mic isn’t detecting and allot og compatibility issues now I can return to a downgraded version that work btw when you download and install this turn of automatic update on google play store or it will just update it again

People just use Skype for video callig but new version is poor in video calling. It freezes and need to restart phone. Also tell how to delete chat history in new version..! We chat has good video quality. Kindly make skype better in video calls and data connection friendly, so it give a quality calls like its name popularity. Which old version is fast . My phn is samsung galaxy core duos. .
