Pros and Cons – IMO Messenger Mobile Version

Pros: The mobile version of the IMO Messenger App supports voice and video calling of the highest quality, besides text messaging. They have a decent library of stickers as well. A somewhat recent addition in the group video calls. IMO Messenger is compatible with iOS, Android, and Windows phone. With over 5 million downloads and 4.3 ratings in the Google Play Store, the app is extremely popular among the users. The clean and neat aesthetics is a definite plus point. A pleasant surprise is a fact that IMO Messenger is available for desktops as well. However, it is not possible to install in on your desktop without first doing the same on your laptop.

Cons: The version 1.2.50 doesn’t recognize the United States in its list of included countries. However, Americans can download and use the app without any issue. While the desktop version of the application is a nice touch, it lacks a lot of features that make the mobile version so good.

Issues: In the last few months, Android users have mentioned that in most Samsung devices, IMO Messenger doesn’t seem to work well. It causes occasional audio disturbances. While the Android app is a huge hit, iOS seems to have disappointed the users. There is an in-app subscription model which makes the experience a little less than ideal. If the developers add more features besides voice and video, it would be great!

They do save the videos on their servers and one is only safe till no one hacks into it. However, they do have stringent security measures in place.
